About the Law Office of Andy P. Miller
I started the Law Office of Andy P. Miller with a single-minded purpose: put the client first. I firmly believe that there is a better way to practice law than divisiveness and dollars. I am dedicated to the idea that a law firm can serve its clients — even in such a “traditional” field like the law — by being different.
Here is how I try to do that:
1. Clients First. There is no coincidence that clients are my first priority. As party of my client first approach I am always available either by telephone or email in the event of an emergency. Unlike most law firms, I realize that most people work between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. so I make myself available in the early mornings, evenings, and even on the weekends. And even better, I come to you. My “office” can be your local coffee shop or your favorite restaurant. Many firms believe they exist solely to make money — my belief is that my office exists to serve clients. Every decision my office makes is made from the standpoint of what is best for the client. In the end, well-served clients lead to a strong, positive, and profitable office.
2. Embracing Technology. In the 21st century technology is a must. Employing cutting-edge case management software, remote document management tools, blogs, online research, and a paperless file management system I am able to keep my clients informed around the clock while keeping costs to a minimum and productivity at a maximum. Technology is also important to my commitment to the environment; I am proud to be a paper LESS office. My increased productivity and decreased costs mean significant costs savings to you, the client — again, this is all part my office’s client first approach.
3. Flexible Fees. There is no one size fits all answer in the law so why should a lawyer impose one size fits all billing? At the Law Offices of Andy P. Miller I bring our client first approach to my billing practices as well. I will work with my client to determine what is fair and what the appropriate fit is on a case-by-case basis. For some clients the billable hour is the right approach, for others flat fee-billing is the right fit. Payment plans are an option for some, too. We even accept credit cards. Bottom line: I approach your fees the same way I approach the right legal strategy: based on the facts in your case.
